About K9 Kenny
When you sign up your dog for training with K9Kenny, you are working with me. No assistant trainers who may not know your dog as well. No group classes where your dog may be too distracted to learn. Private fifty minute long lessons with Kenny working directly with you and your dog. I do all of my training out of my place in South Austin so I do not offer in-home training and I do not do Board and Train as well. Training done here will carry over to life at your home as well. We will work together to resolve any and all behavioral issues as well as to teach obedience.

Kenny did an excellent job training my 6 month old Australian Cattle Dog. Nico had some confidence issues when we first started her training sessions but with Kenny's direction she is now a confident young lady with some great foundation skills (sit, down, place, recall). Each session we built on her understanding and Kenny did a great job sending follow-up emails and resources. I highly recommend Kenny to train your dog!
From beginning to end, Kenny was a pleasure to work with. If your looking for a more hands on approach to not only train your dog, but build a great bond, Kenny is your guy! We will definitely be a return customer when our dog is of age for the advanced level training!
I just moved to Austin and was looking for a dog trainer for my 4yr old black lab. I chose Kenny based on his previous reviews and I’m glad I did. Kenny has been wonderful! Together we were able to achieve huge improvements with our dog Bash! If you’re willing to practice with your dog at home, Kenny’s training program is incredibly effective. Before working with Kenny, my wife and I could not walk Bash without injuring our arms (he used to pull and jump constantly), and it was very stressful to have friends over because he would rush the door and jump all over people. In 6 weeks, Kenny helped get Bash to obey a set of useful commands, sit politely when people enter our home, walk without pulling the leash, and wait patiently for permission before entering or exiting the house. In our final session with Kenny, my wife was able to walk Bash past another dog without any reaction, and on walks we do not need to keep a hand on the leash (Bash walks at our side with zero tension on the leash). I seriously did not think this amount of progress would be possible, and we owe it all to Kenny!
