Went in to try to adopt a dog out of the rescue run through the business. The place is clean and the staff very kind. I filled out the application and they told me they’d contact me within 7-10 days on wether or not my application was accepted or rejected. I received no further contact from them even after I emailed them on day 12 to ask about my application. The store was clean and well stocked but the staff’s unprofessionally conduct is inexcusable as this was time I could have spent finding another dog. Need some kibble? You can get it here. Looking to adopt? Go elsewhere.

Zach, the rescue inside the store is a non profit organization separate from K9 Cuisine N More. They are always looking for volunteers to help out to make phone calls, do paperwork, feed, walk, and just give love to the homeless animals. We are sorry that you were not called regarding your application, since the rescue has been short on volunteers to make calls. Best of luck in finding a new furry family member.

Amazing experience here with my dog. The first evaluation was quick and accurate. The 2 week training was efficient and they worked very well with my crazy schedule. My dog showed immediate improvement after the training was over. They took great care of my girl Ceecee and I would recommend everyone to go to them for their dogs as well. They truly care about the dogs and their customers !!!

Went for an evaluation of our 2 year old great dane mix for training. Dave, the trainer, stood there with a clip board and asked us questions. Went for an evaluation of our 2 year old great dane mix for training. Dave, the trainer, stood there with a clip board and asked us questions. He didn't have us do anything to evaluate our dog - no commands. All of the questions could have been asked and answered over the phone. $75 evaluation fee. 15 minutes. He didn't listen to our answers either. We brought our dog there a year ago and had a different trainer for the same issues. Our dog is better but still needs some guidance. He more than doubled the price from last years evaluation and just kept saying he's bigger now. He's the same size. Do your research. Frustrated that I wasted my time and money. Edit: to their response: You just proved my point that you were NOT listening to what we said. Both instances that happened with other dogs was before we came to you one year ago. I told you that he was BETTER than he was last year. His walking improved and we explained that we wanted to focus on some of other issues he still has. He and the neighbor dogs get along great. Again you didn't listen. We told you about the two dogs on each side of our house, he has no barking or aggressive issues with them.

Hi Shannon & Dan, The training evaluation is so that Dave and his trainers can see the dog in person in order to see the behavioral issues, as you should know this from the first time you came in for an evaluation. It's like a car mechanic you can't see what a problem is over the phone unless you see the issue in person. Unfortunately, we can’t give you a true quote unless we go over the issues at hand in person, a lot of times when talking with people over the phone they seem to forget some of the issues and we can’t give them a true quote. We don't go over commands in the evaluation because that is what the training process is for to help you and your dog learn together. Your dog is now an adult as opposed to the first time you came to us, he was only a year old. At that time he did not have some of the issues you discussed with us yesterday. So the training process will take longer because he has matured and created some other bad habits. Since your original evaluation, your dog’s behavior (according to your statement) has gotten worse. All of K9 Kindergarten employees and owners work hard to help the dogs and pet parents in their community with our behavior training and education in all of our different areas in our facility. We also take pride in what we do and love helping those that need it.
