K9 Life Lessons

I can not say enough wonderful things about Brooke and how amazing she is! Her knowledge base on training dogs is next to none. She is extremely patient yet firm with the dogs. My Jett is like a different dog now that he’s home… in the best way possible. He’s not pawing at the kids anymore, jumping all over us, busting out of the house without permission etc. She taught him amazing thresh hold manners, krate manners, and how to walk on a leash beautifully among other thing. Just returned from a mile walk with him and he didn’t pull against the leash at all. Stayed right beside me and another dog even ran up to him wanting to play. He is an enjoyable member of the family now. Bless him… he didn’t mean not to be before but didn’t know his own size. I can bring him inside and he will “place” where I tell him too and will stay until I say “free” and my house is very busy with 4 kiddos. Using Brooke is 1,000,000 times worth it and I’d use her all over again. You will NOT REGRET placing your fur baby in her hands! Thank you so much for working with Jett! Ps: you must also follow her directions and continue what she’s taught your dog at home. It’s not a magic pill if your not willing to continue the progress at home 😀

We took the newest member of our family to Brooke for on-leash and then again for off-leash obedience training. I feel like she returned a different dog to us. Our 6 month old labradoodle went from being a jumping, chewing, nipping at kids wild child to being a well mannered and respectful companion. We are so pleased with every aspect of K9 Life Lessons. Brooke was responsive and easy going. It’s obvious to tell that she is a true professional. I’ve had other dogs go through classes in group settings at large retail stores for weeks on end and never saw results like I do after sending one to K9 Life Lessons. When we get another pup, Brooke is the first person we’ll call. Thank you!

Brooke is such a natural teacher, that she seamlessly is teaching not only the dog but the handler at the same time. The skills that I have learned and continue to learn from her are invaluable. In class I feel she has super human eye sight sometimes as she is watching the dogs behavior and the handlers at the same time, I don't think she misses a thing. Praise is given above and beyond. Feedback is timely and positive. If there is a mess up, it is acknowledged and a different approach is presented to avoid the situation going forward. Before starting she thoroughly explains the exercise and the theory behind it. During and after these interactions she is pointing out key successes and ways to modify the exercise if the dog is uninterested or struggling. Brooke truly is setting the dogs/owners up to succeed. For that I am very thankful. Brooke you are a dog trainer "Rock Star." Thank you for your guidance and sharing your gift.
