Larry is an excellent trainer. Our dog Walker loved going to school and training with Larry. When your dog loves going, gives the instructor love and kisses and listen and learns you know you have a great trainer. Walker is looking forward to attending the next level of training this summer. I have heard horror stories of people taking their dog to a trainer and their pup being choked out for not behaving. You will never experience this type of treatment from Larry. He shows your dog as much love and compassion as you do. Highly recommend. 10/10 service.
We wouldn’t take our dogs to anyone but Larry! Our dogs loved him , he works so well with the dogs and notice such a difference after our training has been completed!
Took our 6 month old GSD pup to Larry for obedience training and reacting to every dog we saw on walks. He already knew the basic sit, down, etc which helped going in. Took our 6 month old GSD pup to Larry for obedience training and reacting to every dog we saw on walks. He already knew the basic sit, down, etc which helped going in. He now can walk in heel, and stay in sit/down for at least two minutes even with a ball/toy or if one of us walks out the door, and has a relatively reliable recall. He also is way better on walks and now only barks at other dogs roughly 10% of the time. As with anything dog related, it only gets better the more time you put towards working with them outside of the classroom. We hope to take him back to Larry in the future for advanced training/tracking.
Larry does an amazing job! He is extremely knowledgeable, provides step by step notes and demonstrates how to communicate with your dog. I think it’s about being more patient with me- it’s about training the owner as well! This is my second lab he has trained and I highly recommend!
