K9 Obedience Training

We are the owners of a very large dog breed. Larry provided us with the necessary training skills required to be responsible and safe pet parents. Larry showed great patience with our stubborn and unambitious Clyde in a way that our puppy looked forward to his session every week. We now feel confident in our dog and our abilities as owners thanks to Larry’s immense knowledge on dog training. This trainer listened to all of our concerns with Clyde , no matter how big or small, and gave us a plan that was easy to implement and stick to. Could not recommend this training program enough.

Larry separates himself from other dog trainers by tailoring his program to each dogs abilities and his attention to detail with each dog that comes to him. The way he goes about his training is clearly reflected by his years of experience. I brought my 4-month-old puppy, Gus, to Larry for training, and it was a wonderful experience. Larry has a wealth of knowledge and is always willing to answer questions. When it comes to dog training, I cannot recommend Larry at K9 Obedience Training enough! He has worked with both of my dogs now, and I honestly don't know how I could have done it without him. My Catahoula Leopard Dog / Coonhound mix, Star, came from a rescue and was extremely fearful around anyone and anything. On top of that, she was stubborn and only wanted to listen to herself! But Larry is a miracle worker. After just the first session, Star warmed right up to him and was actually excited to go back each week. Larry’s ability to create on-the-fly lesson plans blew me away. It really shows his vast experience and how quickly he can pick up on exactly what a dog needs in the moment. Star just graduated from his puppy school, and she is a completely different dog! She is so much more comfortable around both people and other animals now. Thank you, Larry!
