We got a lot of great insight and education on training our rescue dogs, who were very fearful and at times reactive. Advice we received also helped identify our own behaviors that might perpetuate that fearfulness and reactivity. All of this has helped limit the chaos of having two rescue pups under 2 years old. We are so appreciative!
Jake is very knowledgeable about dog behavior! You will learn different strategies and techniques to change your dogs behavior. A couple suggestions would be assigned “homework” (a handout) each week to move your dog to the next level. My dog loved the class activities with cones etc! more time spent on this would have made the class even better

The owner has helped me become so much more knowledgeable and understanding of my two dogs, and i now have my third puppy enrolled for this great experience. There are such a variety of training classes provided all at a reasonable price. Nothing beats being able to have a happy life with your dogs and being able to enjoy them every step of their life.

Jake has extensive and wide-ranging experience that we were able to benefit from in working with our newly-adopted reactive adult dog - an Aussie shepherd/pit mix. Some trainers will not work with pit/pit mixes, but Jake had no reservations. He is very calm, patient, and understanding, listening carefully to our concerns, not judging us, and encouraging persistence and consistency. Behaviors we thought were a lost cause have minimized and diminished. The way he explains dog psychology helped us better understand and approach the training. This allowed us to develop a stronger bond with our dog, who is truly transforming daily into a wonderful member of our family.
