K9 OTC is hands down one of the best K9 handler schools out there. The training is intense, realistic, and incredibly well-structured exactly what you’d want if you’re serious about working the street with a dependable, well-rounded K9 partner. Trainer Mose is phenomenal. His experience, knowledge, and no-nonsense approach to K9 work set the tone for the entire program. He doesn’t just run you through drills he teaches you how to read your dog, how to build a solid working relationship, and how to apply that bond in real-world scenarios. Whether it’s detection, tracking, or obedience, he breaks things down in a way that’s both clear and effective. The apprehension training at K9 OTC is also next level. You and your dog will work through realistic bite scenarios, building confidence, control, and precision. From proper out commands to building strong grips and drive, everything is done with purpose and attention to detail. You leave knowing your dog is capable, confident, and safe and that you, as a handler, are in full control. The facilities are great, and the variety of training environments ensures that you and your K9 are ready for anything — urban settings, vehicles, buildings, open areas — they cover it all.
