This will be the first of two post for two different dogs I have purchased from Mose in the past 12 years. The first dog was purchased when his kennel was located in Topeka, KS. It was a four-year-old German Shepherd from Mose at K9 OTC, and I couldn’t be happier with the dog. He was everything I hoped for in a well-bred German Shepherd. His structure, temperament, and overall presence really show the amount of care that went into his breeding. He had solid nerves, a clear head, and that classic confident but steady temperament the breed is supposed to have.
Even with the protection training he received, he was incredibly well balanced. He could go into new places, around new people, and handle different situations without any issues. When it’s time to work, he was all business, but when it was time to settle, he was calm and easy to handle. It’s rare to find a dog that can switch gears so smoothly, but this one did it naturally.
I also want to give credit to Mose. He’s truly a responsible breeder who pays close attention to where his dogs end up. He doesn’t just sell to anyone, and it’s clear he wants each dog in the right home. That level of care shows in the quality of the dogs he produces.
If you’re looking for a well-bred canine with the right temperament and training, I definitely recommend K9 OTC.
Second dog purchase
We recently purchased our second dog from Mose, a six-year-old Presa Canario female from K9 OTC and she has been an absolute blessing to our family. She came to us with no formal training, so we weren’t sure what to expect right away. She took about a day to settle in and figure out her new home, but once she relaxed, everything just clicked.
She stays close, usually no more than 20–30 feet from us and has shown the most natural, gentle instincts with our young daughters. It’s like she immediately understood her role in the family. She’s calm in every situation we’ve put her in, but still confident and sure of herself. That balance is hard to find, especially in a powerful breed like the Presa.
She has truly been everything we could have hoped for in a family dog.
Once again, credit goes to Mose. He clearly knows his dogs and takes their placement seriously. The way this girl fit into our home is a testament to how he raises and cares for his dogs. I’d recommend K9 OTC without hesitation.
