Huge shout out to K9 Parent Training! We had a series of lessons with trainer Manny and could not be happier. He provided us with simple tools for working with our extra large and extra exuberant young Labrador retriever. One lesson was in our home and really just changed so much for us. Our last lesson was out in an intense public area since our boy loves to run up to everyone and everything. Thanks Manny we really appreciate you!

In May 2023, my husband and I welcomed Nikkō, our 10-week-old Cocker Spaniel Mix, into our home. Initially, we relied on YouTube videos for training, but by the time he was four months old, we felt overwhelmed. That's when a friend recommended Manny and his team at K9 Parent Training. Now, at eight months, Nikkō is a dream dog, all thanks to Manny, Holly, Jacob, and Crystal. We started with private sessions with Manny and later enrolled in the Day Trainer Program. After just six weeks in this program, Nikkō's behavior has transformed remarkably. Holly is a fantastic trainer, and Nikkō adores her. Jacob is thorough and helps train us, too, which we greatly appreciate. The progress Nikkō has made in intelligence, sociability, and confidence is remarkable. Our home life has gone from chaotic to harmonious, and we couldn't be happier! Manny and his team at K9 Parent Training have not only transformed our pup, but they've transformed our lives. If you're looking for top-notch training and a genuinely caring team, look no further. Our experience has been nothing short of exceptional, and we can't recommend them highly enough.

Manny was recommended to us by our vet, who thought he would be great for Archie, our very high energy, spirited McNab. Manny and his team KNOW dogs. I’ve had dogs my whole life. I’d never seen someone work with a dog like Manny does. The difference is his approach to training: after assessing the dog and its personality, he teaches us “parents,” by example, how to work with our dog. He also offers many different training options , and is very flexible. Archie is very happy around Place. He recently stayed with Manny and his staff 11 days while we traveled. He spent the day playing with other dogs, and brushing up on his training. At night, HE WENT HOME WITH THEM!!! He did not stay in a kennel by himself all night! THAT is the best “boarding” ever!! I highly recommend this business. I look forward to a long relationship with them. I trust Manny implicitly!

Manny, Holly and Jake have changed my life--and, more importantly, the life of my rescue dog, Tigger. I initially contacted K9PT to help sort out reactive leash behaviors and general anxieties around strangers. I recall Manny telling me early on his goal was to try to have Tigger reach a place of "peaceful co-existence." What I didn't realize at the time was that Tigger definitely wanted that, too. I just needed the tools to guide him there. K9PT really is training for the whole family. Now, with the guidance of Manny, Holly and Jake, I've been able to recalibrate my relationship with my dog. The change in Tigger's behavior (and mine, TBH) is nothing short of remarkable. Just this morning, we went on a mile walk--something unimaginable just a few months ago. Tigger loves going to PLACE. Overall, it's obvious he is a much happier and calmer dog. And I am a happier, calmer dog dad. We've both achieved the goal of peaceful coexistence. I could not recommend K9PT more highly.
