FirstBarkOwner is extremely knowledgeable about dogs, especially German shepherds, Belgian malenois, and husky’s. Knows how to handle large alpha dogs with respect and calmness and have the dog respond positively. Highly recommend for training at all ages and boarding.

We are a family owned dog training and boarding facility.We proudly offer services in various fields of the industry including obedience training, behavioral modification and rehabilitation, law enforcement dogs, and service dogs. Our staff is composed of certified and experienced obedience instructors and police canine instructors and specialize in the areas of on and off leash obedience , narcotics and explosives detection, scent discrimination tracking and trailing, suspect apprehension, canine nutriton, canine first aid and CPR, veterinary assistant, and AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluators.

Even after just one session, the difference in our GSD was night and day and immediately had confidence in the program, methods, and how Alex was working with our dogs! We had previously tried another dog training facility in the area with absolutely no success over several weeks. The methods Alex uses to correct bad behavior and reinforce good behavior work immediately. This man knows everything there is to know about dog training. We brought our young German Shepherd to him and he was unbelievably full of knowledge. The property and kennels were impeccably maintained. I would recommend K-9 proving ground to anyone who is looking for a serious dog trainer.We went to several places , There is definitely no one else up here with the experience he has .
