We’ve been taking our Dobie here since he was 14 weeks old for obedience/manners training. He’s about 10 months old now. I can’t say enough good things about Justin and his crew. On top of the regular training, they teach our dog to be peaceful. Sounds strange but it may be the most valuable thing he’s learning. We’ve seen all dogs kinds/breeds, from puppies to rescue/fosters with pretty bad issues. Everyone we’ve seen come in leaves in a much better place then they started. Molly, the head trainer makes classes fun while still being a teaching/educational session. There are no cookie cutter classes, she thinks up challenging, creative and real world scenarios to put the dogs to the test and make them that much better when they’re outside of class. Thank you guys for great classes for us and our pup!

We took our 4‑year‑old Pitty to the K9 Rehab Bad Dogs Only Seminar, and the behavior changes have been night and day. No more resource guarding, no jumping on guests, no leash pulling, and her separation anxiety is completely gone. Our dog hadn’t used a crate in over three years, and now after the seminar she loves it so much we can’t get her to come out! Justin and his staff are personable, incredibly knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to helping dogs build confidence and become their best selves. 10/10 would highly recommend. If you are debating on doing this...just do it!

Bowser originally came into our (Animal Control) care after biting his former owners who we believe were abusing him. He waited for months in our kennel before recently findng someone who wanted to adopt him but he was returned to us within 24 hours of being in that home. Although he has never shown any signs of aggression with us, he is a pitbull with a bite history, so none of the shelters we've reached out to are willing to take him. He has been getting increasingly more stressed and anxious the longer we've had him and he was scheduled to be put down before we found K9 Rehab. They gave us hope that he is still adoptable despite his history and gave us the tools we need to help him become a more peaceful and calm dog. lt has only been a week since we finished the 2 day training seminar and he is already responding very well to the training and demonstrating a level of self control l have never seen in him before. l feel more prepared as an ACO to work with challenging dogs that we may encounter in the future, and l'm excited to continue Bowser's training as l remain hopeful that there's still a forever home out there for him.

I attended K9 Rehab’s “Bad Dogs Only” seminar as a trainer looking to learn more about rehabbing serious aggression, fear, and anxiety, as well as to learn how he implements the use of e-collars to reduce all of the behaviors I just described. I was very pleased with the information he provided to all the participants and I have already begun suggesting things from the seminar to my own clients. Justin and his staff are all highly knowledgeable, beyond personable, and the definition of a “family environment”. I would highly recommend anyone in the Connecticut area struggling with their dog to reach out to Justin and attend the same seminar I did! Justin took time after each day to talk to me individually about how I can/should elevate myself as a trainer. Needless to say, I was very impressed with his training process and his knowledge.

Where do I begin? I brought Justin my golden retriever who was highly reactive and just disobedient in general and was convinced that I just had to live with him that way. After just a week into his board and train stay, I couldn’t believe the difference. After 4 weeks, it’s a completely different and peaceful experience with my dog. I am still in awe of how different he’s been since coming home and how lovely it is to have him in the house, all by establishing boundaries, thanks to Justin. I can’t say enough about how hands-on Justin and his team are; they teach you and your pet how to be successful and form a stronger bond. Best decision I’ve ever made! Highly recommend.
