As a software engineer, I’m incredibly detail-oriented, and my wife and I didn’t take this decision lightly at all. We waited 18 years to bring a dog into our family, and we wanted the perfect start not just for us, but for our new furry family member “Kingston”. We researched 10 different training centers in Colorado and even considered options out of state just to make sure we were choosing the absolute best environment. And in all that searching, John and Angie and their team at K9 Revolution stood out as anything but cookie cutter. They understood that every family’s needs are unique, and every dog is different. They took wonderful care of our puppy right from day one, it meant he got trained without ever picking up bad habits. A lot of other places wouldn’t let us see our dog until after training was complete, but we wanted our puppy to get to know us along the way. And every time we did visit, the team made sure it was all fun for Kingston, so he always associated us with positive experiences. K9 Revolution let us visit every other weekend, and that gave us incredible bonding time. Our daughters got to enjoy the puppy stage without us missing a single moment, and we never felt overwhelmed by the training. Another big reason we chose K9 Revolution is their amazing team. They’re all down to earth, genuinely fun to be around, and their videos always make us laugh but what really sets them apart is how deeply they care. This isn’t a place where trainers constantly rotate in and out or where you feel like just another client. Many of their trainers have been with them for a long time, which shows in the consistency, trust, and relationships they build with both the dogs and the families. Every person on their team knows our dog, knows our family, and treats us like we truly matter. They celebrate wins with you, talk you through challenges, and show up when it matters most. Over time, they’ve become personal friends who genuinely love us, our family, and our dog. It’s rare to find a team that’s this knowledgeable, consistent, and kind all at once. And it’s even rarer to find one that continues to support you long after the formal training is “done.” With K9 Revolution, you never feel alone in the process and that makes all the difference. Being part of their training program also means you get to participate in their weekly Saturday training sessions. I honestly thought that at some point we might be told we couldn’t come anymore, or that the trainers in their group chats would stop responding. The exact opposite has happened. And they respond with the same care and support as if we were still beginners in the program. Their training sessions are incredible. Only dogs that have gone through their program are allowed to attend, which gives me a huge sense of confidence and safety, especially with my kids. Everyone in our family takes turns going on Saturdays, and I’m incredibly grateful that John and his team welcome my 12 and 14 year old daughters to come along with our dog and they love the classes. The difference between the beginner and advanced classes is truly astonishing. Dogs are off-leash, calmly walking past each other, sitting and holding commands while other dogs move around them. It’s a completely different experience than what most people imagine when they think of group dog training. What K9 Revolution does so well is set dogs and families up for success. They give you the tools, the structure, and the support. Continued practice matters, I train daily with Kingston. If you don’t keep reinforcing what your dog has learned, bad habits can creep back in. But with their guidance and ongoing support, staying consistent feels achievable, not overwhelming. Jon, Shannon and the team could not be a better crew. We had a crazy puppy and in just a few weeks, she was as close to an angel we can get. The quality communication with their team is what I can't emphasize enough. Long after the training was over, we stay in touch for further feedback and suggestions. In a world of untrained dogs, seeing the results from using this training I could not be more satisfied. 10/10 results, 11/10 for the companionship we have with this organization. We use the All Brick facility for boarding and they use her when training new dogs, a major bonus and reason we keep in such great contact with them.

My husband and I visited a few other training sites before I finally found K9 Revolution. Jon took my call late on a Friday evening and took plenty of time to explain their center and services. This was the only location that showed us their full facility on our initial visit. Each dog has their own small dog run and can go indoors and outdoors, they also have someone rounding at night - which no other place had. We landed on their 4-week board and train. Not the cheapest location but worth the peace of mind and the amazing trainers who obviously love their job and our dogs. When it comes to our babies, you should not be trying to find cheap - that’s just for salt and pepper (not even paper towels!) Multiple daily videos and willingness to let us come visit if we wanted (which we chose not to for our own sake) but the understanding and option was there. Tux was 6 months when we dropped him off - the hardest 4 weeks ever but worth it. Call and tour multiple places, you won’t find better and you won’t regret trusting K9 Revolution with your baby! I am day 2 after my French bulldog Bruce graduated from his 2 week program at K9 Revolution. Words cannot express the gratitude that I feel for Jon, Angela, Shannon and Steph. Everything about this experience for both my 2 year old pup and myself was exceptional. The confidence that they gave me with constant communication, videos, and daily explanations with video of what they were doing with Bruce and why was beyond what I expected. They completely set me up for success with Bruce. For the first time since I rescued this sweet little man a year ago, I feel like I’m in control. The jumping, barking, nipping and resource guarding already has almost disappeared. I am beyond grateful that I have the tools and the training to have a much more peaceful home than I have for the past year. Thank you to my “team” at K9 Revolution.

I had just gotten a puppy for my birthday, little Cove. We already had Chloe, an 8 year old dog at home. Within a week of having Cove, I realized I needed help. I went online and searched high and low. I was in contact with multiple trainers, but Angela from K9 Revolution really stuck out. The initial phone call we had, she was so thorough, it was a 45 minute call! She answered so many questions and told us all about the program. We then had a second call that included Jon and it was nice to hear more info. We didn’t know if we were ready to pull the trigger on sending two dogs to a board and train for 2-3 weeks, cost wise and emotionally. My girlfriend and I were convinced that if we sent little Cove only, she would come back and then Chloe would make her regress in her training. So ultimately we sent both. We went to tour the facility and the same day we dropped our girls off. While they were gone we got SO many videos and text updates. It was great seeing the progress and any point if we had a question they got back to us pretty quick. We got our dogs back and immediately stopped at petsmart to pick up kennels. We were very hesitant to do so, just because we’ve never done it and frankly didn’t believe in it. However, we took the girls to petsmart and immediately saw a shift. Chloe used to be so reactive and she was able to walk right in between dogs and not care at all. We got our kennels, and we’re now two weeks in and it’s a game changer. We use it religiously and it’s created great boundaries and regulation for the girls. Cove is just a puppy, so they worked on creating a base level for training and she came back to us so eager to keep pleasing and following those rules. And Chloe came back a different dog in the best ways. Not reactive, listening, and able to regulate. I’m SO glad we ended up doing it. And we plan on sticking with training our dogs for life. K9 revolution offers free classes every Saturday and I think that’s so great to keep the dogs socialized and to keep up with their training in a safe environment. The facility itself is clean, the staff is friendly, and it’s right next to the vet where Cove got her first vet visit. So grateful for Jon, Angela, Shannon and Steph!!
