FirstBarkI have a 2 year old bulldog (stubborn type of dog) and I got enrolled in the 8 session program; after 3 visits I received verbal accolades from guests when they would visit our home on the change and calmness of his behavior. So very pleased. This place is awesome!! And our bulldog did bite our 9 year old daughter and she worked with both dog and daughter. A completely different dog.

We came to Gail with our then 9 1/2 month old male Great Dane Bodie. He would growl and Bark at anyone new. We had meet a different trainer and they had told us Bodie was guarding me. After meeting with Gail for a consultation on Bodie's behavior she told us no he wasn't guarding me, but was scared and this is a common thing at Bodie's age. He went in barking and growling at her and she had him calmed down with in 10 minutes. We left there feeling so much better. We continued with Gail for the 8 lesson training package. We drove 5 hours round trip to see her. She was very understanding that it was a long way to go to see her and we did a some longer sessions so we didn't have to drive back 8 times. We noticed a difference in Bodie with the first lesson! She showed us how to introduce him to people and how to have control of him. She trained us more than she trained Bodie! If we couldn't get him to do a command she could take him and get him to do it 100% of the time. Then show us what we were doing wrong. Gail can read a dog like no one I have ever meet! She has the experience, knowledge and patience that make her so good at training dogs. We will be going back for group classes with her to gain more experience for Bodie. Plus Bodie LOVES to see Gail!!

I came to Gail on the verge of tears with our puppy who had just had surgery, was a full ball of energy, and had a temper that he liked to take out on me. Within our first consultation, our dog laid down calmly on my feet. A small moment, but it made all the difference to me. We did multiple private lessons, moved into a group class, and even some drop in trainings. Our dog was no longer biting my feet and was now show dog prancing! Classes were a good size, and the number of instructors was useful in correcting minor things. Private lessons made all the difference as well! As a large puppy with energy, Gail was not afraid to handle him and help him learn how to act. We have such a better connection with him through this training! We are coming back for more advanced classes and excited to see where Gail can lead us. She trains the people just as much (if not more so) than the dogs, and it shows!
We brought our Labrador puppy, Morgan, to Gail for training last spring. We were having some issues with manners and walking quietly on the leash. Gail has helped us tremendously and we are hoping to compete in rally obedience this summer. Her training methods work and I’m so glad we found her!
I've trained two dogs with Gail at K9Shrink. My first dog Graco completed her Utility title, the highest class of the regular obedience classes. My current dog needs on more qualifying score for Utility title. Learned much about dog behavior and trying methods over the years with Gail. Would highly recommend!
