Hi Tina, thanks for providing a review as we take all feedback seriously. we would like to clarify several inaccuracies in this review. First, according to our CRM records, you purchased training on 8/18/24 and attended two puppy group sessions on 9/7/24 and 9/28/24. To verify your claim, we reviewed camera footage from both sessions and found no evidence of a “choker collar” being used or any abusive methods being employed by our trainers. Secondly, we do not and have never used “choker collars” in our training programs. Our training is based on positive, motivational reinforcement, and we work with 800 to 1,000 dogs per year with proven results. The claim that we use cruel or abusive methods is completely false and does not reflect our practices. Third, regarding the refund, we have a no-refund policy, which you agreed to upon enrollment. However, despite this, we still issued you a $600 refund. Additionally, you initially provided a different reason for requesting the refund, unrelated to training methods. Our Training Director, Austin, personally reached out to offer you an even greater refund and left a message, but you never responded. Lastly, we are proud to be the top-rated training facility in Southwest Ohio, with a strong reputation for ethical, effective, and humane training. Our results speak for themselves, and we remain committed to providing the best training experience for dogs and their owners. Sharon, thank you for your review, as a business owner, I take reviews like this as an opportunity to look at our service and see if there is anything we can do to improve. After looking at our CRM records, talking to your trainer, reviewing camera footage and our trainers notes in your file we have reviewed your experience with us in detail. You arrived with Diesel on Sept 29, 2023 saying he had behavior issues. You purchased a 9 session class, and over the next 4 months attended 6 of your 9 sessions. Our documentation stated that you stated you didn't have much time to work with Diesel at home, and struggled with him, but saw good progress. The trainer explained that a lot of the training comes together towards the end. After your 6th class on Jan 16, 2024 you never scheduled or attended further sessions. Our office staff reached out to you on Jan 23 2024, Feb 16 and March 8 to try to schedule more sessions, and check on your progress. After the 3rd attempt to contact you we did not hear anything else. We are sorry that you describe your experience as "not so good", as you can see by our reviews we are the top rated dog training center in Ohio, and we take our ratings with pride. It reflects our image to our customers. I believe that you may be upset because our training director did not offer you the full refund you asked for, which goes against our policy, which you signed. Refunding 4 months of training is kind of like asking for a refund on your meal after you ate all of it. Im sorry that our training director was not able to make you happy with a refund, but he was following our company policy that has been in place since we opened in 2001, and has been in place for thousands of happy customers.
