We found K9 Solutions through an ad on fb. I called and we went in for a free consultation with our less than a year old lab mix, Luna. She had gone through basic puppy training but still had issues. She was getting very aggressive and even “attacking” me and my older daughter. She didn’t break skin but she did bite and jump. She also was very hyper when people came in to the house and being 61 lbs, it was hard to control her. Walking her was a nightmare as she constantly pulled us. She had several other bad habits such as barking to come in but then standing outside and not actually coming in. We were at the point of not knowing if we could keep her because of these aggressive tendencies. We got Austin as our trainer and he was great. Each week we’d work on the issues she had and by training us, we better learned how to handle Luna. It was also great that we got one on training with him and could bring my 2 kids and my husband so we could all learn. We had 6 sessions with Austin and I can’t believe the difference. He told us she really just needed to learn manners and unlearn the behaviors we had allowed. We used the remote collar training as well. It’s never used as a punishment, just a re-direction of her behavior. He was right. Luna is a completely different dog now. She is no longer aggressive, she listens and will re-direct when we say a simple “ahh ahh”, she seems happier as well. We’re still working on the repetition to reinforce what she/we’ve learned but I can’t say enough about this training. It’s made a world of difference in how we work with and raise this puppy. I am so very pleased with K9 Solutions...I took my Keeshond for puppy training, (as she is going to be my service dog) and I was so impressed with outcome that I will be going back for her adult training...Austin was her trainer or I should say my trainer, and he is so very knowledgeable and absolutely wonderful with my baby...I do believe she had a crush on him.. if you want to have your dog go through training this is the place. The price is acceptable, and the people are amazing.
