When we adopted Max, a Jack Russell Terrier, my husband and I seriously considered giving him up. He was a real mess. In less than a week, he destroyed most of the house: the sofa, the bed, he was doing his business everywhere, and honestly, we had no idea how to handle the situation. Things reached a point where we were terrified when Max tried to lunge at my daughter. As parents, it was a very difficult time, and we knew we needed professional help before things got worse. Despite everything, I had grown incredibly attached to him and couldn't bear to let him go. We decided to give it another try and seek professional help. That's when we contacted Dennis, who was very empathetic to our situation from the very beginning and gave us the confidence that things could improve. Our trainer, Ley, has been simply outstanding. She comes once a week, and we're already on our fifth session. I can't thank her enough for the time, dedication, and patience she has shown, not only with Max but also with us. She has taught us to understand his behavior and to communicate with him in the right way. Thanks to consistent training and Ley's guidance, the changes in Max's behavior have been truly remarkable. Today, we see a much more balanced dog, and we feel equipped to continue training him. If there's one thing I've learned in this process, it's that training a dog not only transforms the dog, but also transforms its family. Thank you, Ley, for your professionalism, your patience, and the love you put into your work. You have made an enormous difference in our lives, and we will always be grateful.

Leymit (aka ley) was my dog’s trainer. She was not only incredibly funny, but also a very patient person. My dog is a bit of a troublemaker, but she learned how to sit, lay down, stay in place, and come when called. At one point we got in the car to try to stop my dog from barking at people who’d walk by, and her training and advice helped a lot. We even went to the gym for dog training! Thank you Ley and company!

I am so impressed by the service provided by K9 Specialist. From first contact I spoke with Dennis who scheduled an at home assessment for my Yorkie puppy, Copper. Someone came to my home to assess my dog and was very knowledgeable in how to care for my puppy. I was then paired with Daviel as Copper’s trainer. Daviel always had a great attitude. He has great experience as a trainer and was able to answer all of my questions. His explanations were clear and made sense. Copper loved Daviel and would get so excited to see him but would go into training mode when it was time. Copper learned his commands quickly and was certified as a service dog. Overall a great experience.
