I can't say enough good things about this man and his dedication to these doggies. I dropped my 6 month old pitty off with him for a 3 week training session and he was able to give me the confidence to know i could continue the work he started. My Cain is still a puppy and is going through a chewing faze and is just a very hyper dog. But the tools John sent us home with, made me feel like I could keep going. I was a little overwhelmed and felt like I had bitten off more than I could chew with the breed I had chosen to adopt, but things are going smoother than I had hoped. Thank you John.

We took our 6-7 month old puppy from Athen, TX to Jonathan because we were wanting basic commands like "sit, stay, come, down" taught. We wanted a well-mannered dog who didn't jump up on people when greeted, to sit and wait for a treat, to walk on a lead without tugging, not lung out of his crate, and come when called. Jonathan kept our puppy for 2 weeks. Now our puppy is calmer, waits to be released from his crate, sits when company comes, sits to be loved on (instead of jumping up), walks better on a leash, sits and waits for a treat. Jonathan delivered everything that was promised. What we liked best about Jonathan's training methods were no e-collars, no choke chains, and not breaking the "spirit". He uses consistent reinforcement, excellent training methods, redirection with calm vocal inflections, and lots of patience. He wants you to visit and he will SHOW you what he is doing (not just spew instructions when you pick up your puppy) and how you can reinforce/work with your puppy when he gets home so there is good carryover. Would we have Jonathan work with our dog again? A definite YES!

If you are looking for a very trustworthy safe place to take your dog, this is the place. Johnathan is a very nice guy and he does an amazing job with the fur babies including consistent updates and pictures. We have never really trusted anyone to watch our dog other than close relatives and he has completely changed our view on that. He will be the only one we go to from now on and our dog just has a blast every time she is there. I would recommend him to anyone looking to get their dog watched at any point. He is amazing and has taken her in even when it has been last minute. He treats her as his own and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Jonathan was awesome! He watched our Doberman with love, care, and attention, even correcting him when he misbehaved! He gave him the same snuggles and home atmosphere he gets with us at home. We are so grateful to Jonathan for being available and flexible to watch him while we were working. It was a relief knowing he was taking care of our dog, and still able to take him with us on the trip. Jonathan was amazing and our dog came home more well-behaved! We wish Jonathan was in all the towns we travel for work! Would trust him to take care of our fur baby anytime and he was very friendly.
