Pawsitive Reinforcement was incredibly helpful. We had been struggling with our dog, and as first-time owners, we were clearly unprepared for a dog with as much energy as he has. We tried several trainers and obedience classes, but none of them stuck. With this program, we saw immediate improvement in crate training, jumping, leash training, and so much more. Most importantly, we received just as much training as our dog, because we now know what to do when he returns to any bad behavior. The transition training exercises gave us so much opportunity to learn directly from Dan and to practice under supervision in our own homes. Now, we feel comfortable doing what we need to do to continue his habit-building. I feel less nervous inviting people into our home, because we know strategies to calm him down and get him ready to greet guests in an acceptable way. Now, we feel comfortable eating on the couch instead of standing hunched over on the counter to prevent him from grabbing a bite. Now, we feel comfortable doing work while he sits next to us. And we can tell he finally knows what is expected of him, so he is no longer confused and anxious about what he can and cannot do.

Our dog Bean completed the prt365 program at the end of last year. The change within those 3 weeks - and still to this day has been remarkable. She's gone from anxious and intense, to far more comfortable and friendly. The training helped to change not only her behavior but her relationship with all of us. The playgroups are also so helpful and Bean seems to enjoy them. We can't recommend Dan and his staff enough. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
