We have a year old Australian Kelpie and we were struggling with everything from poor leash manners to reactivity to other people & dogs. I "had" (past tense) a difficult time taking him out for walks and on some days it was quite embarrassing to say the least. We enrolled our kelpie for a 2 week training (day training) with Dan and religiously did our homework. By the time we were done with the training, our dog was very disciplined and well mannered. No more leash pulls or bad reactivity.We found Dan to be extremely passionate about his work, considerate, very knowledgeable and most importantly honest. There are still the occasional shenanigans but we know that we have a method and structure to keep it under control. Thank you Dan! for all the hard-work with our dog and your effort. Great experience with Dan and his staff. We enrolled our dog, Max, in the 365 program to have Dan analyze Max's behavior towards other dogs and encounters with unfamiliar humans. Dan was able to work with Max for three weeks and give us invaluable feedback as to how Max currently behaves, what he did to correct certain behaviors, and what continued steps to take at home. My wife and I appreciated Dan's feedback through phone calls, texts, pictures, and videos. It was also clear that Max was given the utmost care as he stayed in Dan's apartment. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dan's services in the future.

I had several neighbors recommend Dan. I was experiencing a bit of leash lunging and barking and through working with Dan I've learned that my dog is a little anxious. We worked with Dan and his team to learn nice walking and confidence along with training me on things I can do to show my dog I'm in charge and I will protect him. Bringing our dog in for the 3 week boarding program with Dan was the best decision our family made together. Our shepsky, Luna, was difficult to deal with as she did things her own way and would not pay attention to any commands we were giving her. The thing that made us come to Dan was the walks we had with Luna - they made us worried to walk her because she would always get unattached to the leash and run away when she wanted something or she would be pulling you. After the first week of training, Luna was walking right by us. It was such stellar improvement in such little time. Throughout the program, Dan would send us videos showing us how we would be training her and then reinforcing it when meeting in person. Do not hesitate to throw many questions at Dan and his team because they help you through the process. It's so important to follow up on what they teach you after the program!! Do not think your dog will magically stay that way from just 3 weeks!
