Megan was an absolutely amazing trainer for me and my little guy! She was a support system for me both on and off the clock, and her methods always worked to keep my dog in check. I especially loved how Megan always told the “why” behind the trainings that we were doing. I felt much more comfortable trying things because I knew the rationale behind them. I highly recommend for any first time dog owner!

We adopted precious but 100% untrained 1.5-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound in January 2017 and began working with Megan on the recommendation of our Towson neighbors shortly thereafter. Over about three months, Megan patiently and persistently worked with us to train our dog - I say worked with US because she was teaching US as much as she was teaching the DOG. She was on-call via text for any questions we had - related to training, concern about a cough, strategies for stopping her barking in the crate. All of that support has resulted in an extremely well-behaved dog that we get compliments on all the time - and who's become nothing but a joyous part of our family. Additionally, we use K9dness' daily walking service, and their walkers have been nothing short of fantastic - they're reliable and caring, and I come home every evening to a happy pup. Working with Megan has been one of the best investments we've made, and we recommend her to anyone looking for help training their dogs.

Words simply cannot describe Megan's passion for her job. I was referred to Megan by two friends...one who had used her services to train her pitbull and the other a BARCs employee. I needed help to train Piper my 3+ year old pit mix. She is one of 4 dogs residing in my home. I turned to Megan for help. My lack of training was apparent as Piper was the alpha dog out of our pack and even our home, however what I quickly learned from Megan was Piper was co-dependent on me. Her confidence was low and she wouldn’t interact with any dog due to worrying about me. Megan welcomed her in and started her on an intense training program for 3+ weeks. Patience is a virtue and Piper pushed every button Megan had, Piper is like that. When asked to work she was often like “no, not now you can however rub my belly.” Megan made her realize she was no longer Miss Alpha. Piper quickly learned commands and began to blossom. She was running and playing all while training and learning those valuable skills Megan taught daily. I would get daily videos and photos to assure me that training was progressing, successful and Piper was thriving. After two weeks, I too began training with Megan two days a week to ensure Piper's transition back in to the home would be successful. Megan was there every step of the way. You can teach an old dog new tricks. Megan has a way with animals that is innate... she just gets them. Piper is a new dog and one of her brothers who used to stay on different floors to avoid her now lays next to her and even interacts with her. The transformation in my dog is unbelievable. I was a mess wondering what to do for Piper, now I get compliments on her manners when we go out in public. I always say “thank you and it's all due to my trainer Megan"! I could go on and on but would run out of room...so long story short if I could give Megan 10 stars I would, as she is that good at what she does. Do not hesitate to contact her for training.
