I cannot say enough amazing things about K9dness and its owner, Megan Pilachowski. From the moment I met Megan, I knew my dogs were in the best possible hands. I have two English Bulldogs who are truly my babies, and trusting someone with them is not something I take lightly. Megan has completely earned that trust. My dogs stay in her home, and I always feel 100% comfortable knowing they are safe, loved, and cared for like they’re her own. Megan is incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of dog health, behavior, and training. It’s clear she genuinely understands dogs and takes the time to tailor her care to each one’s needs. Beyond that, she is an excellent trainer and communicator—I always know how my dogs are doing and feel fully informed and reassured when they’re with her. What really sets Megan apart is the level of care and attention she gives. My dogs don’t just get watched—they get love, structure, and a safe environment where they thrive. If you’re looking for someone you can truly trust with your pets, I would recommend K9dness and Megan without hesitation. She is simply the best.

We have had several wonderful experiences with Megan with our puppy! She has lovingly cared for him when we’ve gone on vacation and then we also hired her to do board/train. Not only did she make tremendous progress with his behavior, but she also really helped coach us about our mindset and taught us that the crate can be a positive place that we should not feel guilty for using. She also taught us other strategies such as tethering. Highly recommend her and you know your dog will be in a loving caring place when you leave him with Megan!

Been going to see Megan now for 5 sessions. Noticed a huge improvement with just a single session! We’ve been working on basic to more intermediate obedience training. The communication, the care, the attention to detail and the amount of love given to the sessions is something I noticed from day one. Would highly suggest Megan. She wants you to succeed and be the best versions of yourselves…your lil friend as well as you. Thanks Megan for taking on me and Daisy. We appreciate the sessions and looking forward for more growth.

Highly, highly recommend Megan for dog training!!! We are inexperienced dog owners who adopted a very sweet but very large and rambunctious lab mix and she saved us. He was a terror on the leash (pulling, eating trash etc) and now walks are so pleasant and enjoyable for both of us. Thanks to Megan we were able to start off on the right foot with a solid plan that is paying off. She is also great for boarding and sent tons of videos and photos. It eliminated a lot of travel stress which is priceless. Our family is so grateful!

We had an absolutely outstanding experience with Megan training and boarding our Chili. Chili is a 5-year-old Cavapoo who is incredibly high-energy, smart, and loving, but definitely a handful. The transformation has been remarkable. From the very beginning, it was clear that our dog was in knowledgeable, caring hands. Megan struck the perfect balance between structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement. Not only did our dog come back calmer and more focused, but we also saw real improvements in obedience, impulse control, and overall confidence. What impressed us most was that the training clearly stuck. This wasn’t just about commands during training sessions—our dog came home with better habits, better manners, and a noticeable ability to settle, even with all that Cavapoo energy still intact (which we love!). Communication upon completion of the training was terrific. We were given clear guidance on how to maintain and build on the progress at home. It truly felt like a partnership, not just a service.
