K9dogo Dog Training

We did a set of 6 sessions with Stephen and our 2 pups ages 1.5 and 4.5. They each would harass gopher tortoises when walking on trails which interrupted our walks and created much frustration by all involved. Stephen introduced us to a the right methods and tools (yes including a training collar) that corrected the behavior and has allowed us to continue to enjoy our walks off leash in local natural areas. Thrilled we were able to do this. And to also gain the confidence to use the training collar as a method of distraction for helping with listening and responding to other really important ideas like "come" or "stop that" to protect our pups. Of course the pups have their own ideas at times -- rabbits, squirrels and deer will do that. So they still have their fun but the work Stephen did with us allowed us to let the dogs romp more safely. Thank you Stephen. Understand that a session with Stephen may not always be a set amount of time as he is focused on taking the next step and may not require all that much time for that step.

Our experience with Stephen was excellent. We managed to modify all the behaviors that we wanted to correct from our dog Apopka. He was always very clear with his explanations on how to carry out the changes we wanted to occur. In addition, We really liked that his way of correcting our dog’s bad habits was with positive reinforcements. We are very happy to have hired him since we are enjoying our dog much more now!

We brought home a rambunctious young pup who liked to nip at our kids and she would yelp through the night. With little sleep and our kids becoming afraid of the pup, we were starting to question our decision and ability to be dog owners. We are so grateful to have found Steve! Within two sessions, Steve was able to correct both these issues and put us on the path for success. We were able to come to Steve with any dog related problems and he helped us find solutions. Steve guided us though our puppy stage and most importantly, gave us the tools and confidence that we can be great dog owners. With Steves expertise, our pup has become a great family member.
