The method we use is all about self discovery and decision making. Dogs learn through predatory instinct and natural wolf-like behaviors/corrections, our method allows you to bring out your dog's natural abilities and potential to become a loyal companion and family pet. Because all breeds are unique, different types of training techniques are needed. If you were ever wondering why you've tried other trainers or programs that have failed, it's because they are trying to use one method on all dogs. Our method relates to the predatory instinct in the animal and because all dogs are predators, they understand and accept this method. We offer free initial consultations and can work with your schedule!

So I'm fourteen and I have a female German shepherd that is 2 years old and I want to have her go to obedience classes and personal protection classes so do we have to be there with them or can we leave them there for like a month or two
Great question. Go to our website and schedule a free consultation. At that time, we can get to know you and your dog, and see what options work best. We do offer in kennel training, obedience classes, and specialty courses.

I am one of those "research before you jump in folks", and I have been preparing for my first puppy. I went to Kai's to observe a puppy class and a private training session, and though I was impressed by the trainers I was APPALLED by the owner. As I observed the lesson I watched Derrick repeatedly yell over the trainers, and harass clients. He must not care about his staff, as he made loud and inappropriate comments about the two of them in front of clients, including a 14 yr old that was there for a lesson. I was annoyed and unimpressed, but thought maybe he was just having an off day. One of the trainers, Kenzie, went above and beyond to make sure I had a good experience however and invited me to watch a different lesson the following week. I returned the following week with a friend and her dog, to observe Kenzie give an initial consultation, as well as meet with Alex, who does some of their e-collar work. My friend and I both observed the same kind of behavior as before from Derrick, but this time not only did he berate staff and clients but went after me, a potential client personally for not having a dog yet. I honestly feel like I would be better off training a drug dog at PetSmart, then a house pet under Derrick's hand. When his staff leaves and starts there own facility, sign me up, but until then I plan to stay far away from the world of Kai's.
