Julie is an amazing trainer that has a wealth of knowledge on dog behavior and provides great advice, techniques and strategies catered to the dog and family. We have had two puppies train with Julie, one that started as a nervous dog and required a slower more cautious approach as well as our lab puppy, that we aspire to have become an ESA dog someday for our special needs daughter. We highly recommend working with Julie and Kaleidoscope if you are interested in positive reinforcement training for your dogs.

Julie is fantastic! I have worked with other trainers in the past, but she stands out! She helped me with my two dogs who had pretty different needs and did a great job with both of them! What really stood out to me was her passion for the job. She is knowledgeable about her field and stays in touch with current research. She provides so many helpful resources as well! The most important thing to me was how much love and patience she showed my two dogs. Previous trainers didn’t seem to take the time to really understand my dogs. Julie did! She got it and saw them for the dogs they are both their challenges and strengths! I felt that she actually liked my dogs and she remembered details about their interests and quirks, she really cares! Excellent experience - Julie is very easy to work with, understanding and provides loads of ideas/instructions/how to. I will admit that my engagement was not what it should have been due to 'life' responsibilities - the 'no judgement' was appreciated. Lexi is a 'fearful' pup - advice from Julie was very useful as I am not a very patient person and learning to work at the dogs speed was the most valuable lesson learned. Looking forward to more growth and hopefully 'walking' lessons in the fall. Thank you so much!
