Julie was very prompt,organized and thorough. Our little Vizsla Joli loved seeing her every visit. Not only did Julie have very structured objectives for each session but she followed up with suggestions to reinforce Joli’s new learnings. What was exceptionally helpful was Julie’s openness to customize her lesson plan to our needs. If we said we are still having issues with something Julie changed the days sessions to troubleshoot our issue!

Loved my dog training experience with Julie! I did private classes, along with her group classes and they were a game changer! As a first time dog owner I didn’t even know where to start with training, but Julie covered it all! Not only did she come and demonstrate what I should be doing, she would send emails, videos & links to make sure I understood it all very easily! Not only did she help my puppy, but helped me as a dog owner know how to properly take care of a dog. I can’t thank her enough for guiding me through this hard stage of being a puppy parent! I recommend her for any questions & all types of training with your dog!

We wanted to find a dog trainer that used positive reinforcement and we found that with Julie. When going on walks, our dog was very reactive to people and dogs and pulled hard on the leash. Through working with Julie, we learned that our dog was over threshold when going outside and we needed to first work our dog inside with no distractions and then slowly bring her outside. Julie helped us find the right equipment to use with our dog and now instead of our dog pulling us, our dog walks nicely to our side. Our dog is a lot less reactive to people and we are working with her reactivity to dogs. Every small step, is a big win for us. Our dog has made such great progress! We love that after each lesson, Julie would send us written notes of the day's lesson and homework assignments. To this day, we still use these notes. Julie is a very patient and knowledgeable trainer!
