Kaliber Canine, LLC

We looked into the reviews of this place and could not find anything concerning. So I have to balance out all the five star reviews. When my dad picked up his dog, he had lost a lot of weight, his coat was matted and he had insect bites all over his face. He was also shedding his hair (he’s a poodle and doesn’t shed). We noticed most of his dog food had not been opened, and the dog looked really stressed out. When we took him to the groomer to get his coat straightened out, not only did he need multiple baths , they made remarks about how thin he was, and how many insect bites he had all over his body. He also had marks all over his back. They may know about dog training, but I’m not sure they know how to take care of dogs. he was there for five weeks and I know my dad was really upset about this

I had my Cane Corso, Giovanni, trained at Kanine Kaliber last year when he turned 1 yrs old. I am STILL happy with the trainings he’s had while he was there for 6 weeks. Victor is phenomenal! I needed to board Gio, this year for Christmas and I decided to go back to Kanine Kaliber; they do boarding as well. Again, Victor is great! Very informative, VERY knowledgeable about dog behavior and what I love is that he treats your dog as if it was his own. Even after a year, he was still giving me pointers on Gio’s training. He called me to tell me that my Gio wasn’t eating. He had already tried different solutions to help him eat before he called me. After speaking with him and brainstorming the issue, realized my dog’s food was different. Same brand and formula, except the one I bought to take to the facility, didn’t have the shredded chicken pieces in it. And since I hadn’t left town yet, I was able to bring over the food I had at my house. I called the next day and I was happy to know that he was eating. I really need to pay more attention to the bag next time. I’m grateful for Victor. If you need a dog trainer or a place to board your dog, I HIGHLY recommend Kanine Kaliber and Victor.

I interviewed 4 kennels before Choosing Kaliber. My original Reason for choosing Kaliber was because Victor was clearly able to outline the objectives of training, and ensure that he was going to complete the job. Victor was amazing keeping in touch with me weekly sending me videos updates. We had a plan for a six week training. My dog was needing a little extra time and for no extra charge, he stayed 2 more weeks making sure that the training was complete! In the end, my dog is transformed. The obedience is able to be repeated at home! Highly effective!!

Victor is very informative; he was truly knowledgeable about the Cane Corso breed, which I have, he walks you through the training that they provide and asks questions to help the betterment of you and your dog. I immediately signed my Gio up for training after meet and greet at the facility. Victor made me feel comfortable and confident that he’d treat my dog just like his own for 5 weeks. I was able to virtually check in with my dog during his training. I get him back in a day and I am sure my Gio will be an even better dog because of Victor at Kaliber Kanine. 10/10, would recommend.

I put my puppy in the basic program a few months ago, and it was the best decision I’ve made. I’ve been trying to train my puppy on my own and since I’ve never had a dog before, I wasn’t able to successfully get him to cooperate. After leaving him with kaliber canine, it’s like they gave me a completely different dog. Almost didn’t recognize him, because of how well behaved he was. He was a little excited when I picked him up, but after a little practice at home, I could see he learned all his basic commands very well. I think I missed the discounted deadline that I was given after I picked him up from his basic program, but I would love to try out the Elite program. Maybe even the Einstein program, just to see what my puppy is fully capable of.
