Kasie’s Canine Academy

I enrolled my grandson’s 12 week old puppy in Kasie’s group class for basic obedience training; and we ended up getting so much more than basic. Besides the usual commands of Sit/Stay/Down/Heel/Come, his pup knows not to jump on us, not to be mouthy or nip, to drop forbidden objects, not to run into us, to Stop on command, is better socialized with people and other dogs, loves shopping in Lowe’s, plays on equipment at Kids Kingdom, and is now preparing to go on his first family vacation at 7 months old. During the six week course, Kasie was always available, during and after class, to answer questions or address problems or issues that continually come up with a new puppy. My family knows that they can text, email, or call her if they run into problems they can’t solve. Her knowledge, experience and expertise have been invaluable to help train this young puppy to live successfully as a much loved family member and constant companion for a 4 year old preschooler. He has “learned to learn”, so his family continues to teach him new commands and fun skills as needed. Having a young puppy is always a challenge, but thanks to Kasie’s Obedience classes, our experience has been wonderful and has gone a long way towards easing the stress and frustration that can happen with a badly behaved or poorly trained dog.
