Kat the Dog Lady

Kat has been a wonderful guide!!! She really works with you and your family as individuals, tailoring the training to your needs and abilities. She explains how the lessons will improve not only your life but your dogs life as well. Our Stella was very reactive to everything and everyone. It was all out of fear and once Kat worked to show us the techniques to let Stella know she didn't have to be "on guard" all the time, our walks have gotten so much more pleasurable. She encouraged each member of our family to take part, and even the more reluctant members learned some valuable skills. As we work to improve Stella's behavior I look forward to working with Kat on some fun agility training to further build Stella's confidence. We are so grateful to Kat and I'm sure Stella would say the same thing... THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!

Kat is an outstanding trainer! We just finished service dog training with our dogs' Benji and Gracie. Kat worked with each dog's strengths and weaknesses patiently and with respect. We loved Kat's methods! Kat helped us train Benji since he was 4 months old. Benji has blossomed into the best companion and true service dog. Gracie is now extremely well-adjusted, confident, and a real people person. We got Gracie when she was older and she had issues with confidence, crying in public (from nerves), and she refused to move with a leash on. She is doing so well and we couldn't have done that without Kat. We're so happy and proud of the mature puppies they have become. We owe their transformation to Kat. We'd give her more than 5 stars if we could! If you're looking for a dog trainer, don't use anyone else!

Kat has been an amazing trainer for us and I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to learn how to properly train their dog the right way! She’s really responsive and thoroughly answered all my questions. She takes her time when leaving feedback and shows you things you’re doing unintentionally that are slowing down your progress. I feel like I understand my dog alot more now, understand how to train him and most importantly understand the why behind it!

Kat has trained my 3 dogs and me. She's always patient and explains what is going on in the dogs behavior and how mixed or confusing commands on my part affects the dogs. She is very knowledgeable on resources available to pets and owners. Kat is easy to contact and responds in a timely manner. Her get togethers/pack walks gives her the opportunity to see our progress and advises on how to improve our relationship. I highly recommend her to anyone that needs help with their dog regardless of the dog's age, we've trained 2 that were pups and a 5 year old. They love seeing her.
