Kat the Dog Lady

This lady understands dogs in such an innate way, and explains it to us humans even better. Kat was my mentor and almost all of my skills can be attributed to her guidance. She is a truly balanced trainer, who understands not every dog is the same. Not only have I seen her make dramatic transformations in the most unapproachable, reactive, and even fearful of dogs, but she taught me how to do exactly that myself. From behavioral modification, to task training, confidence building and then some, there is no one I would trust as a dog trainer and doggo mom more with my pups. She can truly bring out the best in any dog handler team.

Our 6 month old staffy, Nami, spent 3 weeks with Kat to learn basic obedience (puppy chomping, jumping, leash skills, dog socialization, listening to commands, etc). We were blown away by how much progress Nami made in those few weeks - we learned not only what Nami is capable of, but also how we can be better trainers as well. We 100% plan to continue working with Kat for offleash training and group hikes, and would recommend her to everyone!!
