Katalyst Kennels

I really wanted to love this kennel as the reviews I read were excellent and when I met Kate with my small puppy she really impressed me. However, the actual experience of my miniature poodle attending puppy kindergarten was not as described and turned out to be a huge disappointment . The trainer( not Kate) seemed to ignore the needs of my puppy while allowing a much larger and highly amped up puppy to be overly rough with her and make her yelp. I reported it to Kate via email but rather than call me to discuss possible modifications , we were basically kicked out. I witnessed the aggression towards my puppy but it was minimized by staff. I understand that sometimes certain situations and people can be a bad fit, but not having a conversation about a reported problem with a customer is just poor customer service and impolite. The situation could have been handled in a much nicer way; that is the biggest disappointment here. I would also add that if you are the owner of a smaller breed , sadly, this kennel may not be the best place to seek training etc.

The staff was very professional accommodating for us on our first trip/stay for our dog. They offered for us to come see and tour the spot. Upon drop off (first time our dog was in a kennel) the people were so friendly and knowledgeable! We picked up our dog three days later and he was well taken care of and loved! We signed up for the training classes (there's a wait-list). No hesitation about recommending this place.

I just picked up my puppy from a 6 day stay with Katalyst Kennels in Litchfield. I will definitely be bringing her back again. What a wonderful place! My puppy was very well cared for. She was exercised to her heart’s content & she even made friends! I received texts with pics of PepperLu on her puppy vacation. I knew I had chosen the best place for my girl. (She’s the one smiling on the right.) The picture says it all! We are now looking forward to some training sessions. Thank you for loving PepperLu while I was away! 🐾🐾
