I cannot recommend this trainer based on my experience. The dog in their care was kenneled for extended periods with persistent barking and limited structured engagement. Despite the use of e-collar and muzzle training, the dog’s behavior escalated and resulted in multiple bite incidents. There were also serious lapses in basic safety protocols, including the dog being left unattended in an unfenced yard, which led to another bite. The handling and intervention methods used during these situations raised significant concerns about both technique and judgment. Additionally, guarantees were made regarding full rehabilitation and the prevention of future bites—claims that NO ethical or experienced trainer can responsibly make. The outcome speaks for itself: the dog’s condition worsened and is now facing severe consequences. This reflects a concerning lack of accountability and professional standards. I would strongly encourage others to thoroughly vet trainers and their methods before making a decision.

Kat’s guidance has changed our lives. We contacted Kat for a serious problem with our 3 dogs. She came to our home and taught our family how to work with the dogs. Since then, we’ve worked on numerous other challenges, each one having a great outcome. Kat understands dog behavior and can tailor a plan to make things better. She is patient and her prices are fair. Kat cares about my family and wants to ensure the best outcomes. I can text or call Kat any time and she’s always there to support me. I have a boxer, a mutt and a mini daschund puppy. They are a handful, but with Kat’s training, we are making it work. We’ve worked on “getting along”, basic commands, barking and boundaries. Kat works with the dogs, but more importantly, she works with us. I highly recommend Kat’s K9 for your training needs!!
