Our trainer, Richard, was fantastic. We have a very unique 3 year old dog who was having aggression issues that just kept escalating. We were scared to handle him at times, and he ran the household (without us even knowing it!). Richard was knowledgeable, solution-oriented and fun to work with. We ended up doing 6 weeks total, 4 week board and train and 2 week drop offs. While it was expensive, we are glad we did it and I’m so impressed with how he behaves at home and in public around strangers and other dogs. Night and day difference.
Thank you to KC Dawgz and specifically Richard for helping us enjoy having our pup again!!

I can't say enough about KC Dawgz and Victor! I have a rescued English Mastiff and she was denied training from multiple locations due to her size and being classified an aggressive breed. I drove 200 miles (one way) to meet with Victor and discuss training. He reassured me and helped us get set up for a four week board and train.
We just got our girl back home and she is night and day different. She's so much calmer, doesn't react to people and dogs like she previously did, and listens to commands immediately. She made lots of friends during her training and I received weekly videos and pictures along with our update.
My only complaint is that I'm too far away to just stop in for a visit! Victor was amazing to work with and KC Dawgz is worth every penny!

We absolutely loved the day training KC Dawgz provided for our 4 month old puppy over the last three weeks. The progress Poppy made exceeded our expectations, and the confidence we gained as her humans (equally if not more importantly!) has made a meaningful difference in our day-to-day lives.
Regan, her trainer, was exceptional. From the very beginning, it was clear that she is highly professional, deeply experienced, and genuinely knows what she’s doing. She took the time to listen carefully to our concerns and goals and then thoughtfully prioritized the training that would serve our family the most. Nothing felt generic or cookie-cutter—everything was intentional, practical, and clearly grounded in real-world experience.
Regan is also an *outstanding* human teacher. She was patient, clear in explaining concepts, generous with answering questions, and excellent at helping us understand not just what to do, but why it works. She was wonderful at including and engaging our 9-year-old as well, which made the training feel like a true family effort and helped reinforce consistency at home.
During the training, Poppy learned more than we expected, including place, down, heel, come, and leave it, all in ways that translate directly to everyday life at home. The focus wasn’t just on teaching commands, but on building calm behavior, communication, and confidence.
Most importantly, we trusted Poppy completely in Regan’s care. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about Poppy, was deeply invested in her success and well-being, and appreciated (and got a kick out of!) Poppy’s personality. That combination of expertise, professionalism, and compassion made the entire experience a pleasure.
We highly recommend KC Dawgz and will absolutely continue working with Regan as Poppy matures and grows her skills. Regan did an amazing job, and we’re incredibly grateful for the impact she’s had on our family. ❤️
