Kentucky Dog Training LLC

My dog Reese was constantly jumping on visitors and barking and overall just an overly excitable and difficult to control dog until he went through the board & train with Kentucky Dog Training. He is like a new dog, the difference is life changing! Previously I felt like we couldn’t even have people in our home but now thanks to Sam and Kara and the other trainers we will be able to!! I am beyond grateful to them! I will highly recommend them to anyone with a dog who needs training or even if they just feel like they need some better manners, thanks again to them!!

Samantha from Kentucky Dog Training LLC trained our big stubborn Great Pyrenees and he’s a whole new dog even after almost a year. Best decision ever!! Before he went to the board and train, he was the absolute worst to the point I was in tears constantly. Now, he listens (as much as a GP can 😂) and is so much more willing to listen! Sam was great about sending us updates and pictures of our boy while he was there and was super knowledgeable and answered our million questions. When we came to pick him up, Sam went over all of the commands with us and made sure we were comfortable with them, which was incredibly helpful. She even bathes the dogs staying with her and they get to hang out with her all day, so they’re definitely spoiled while they’re there! Sam was a lifesaver and has made life with our GP a million times easier. 10/10 recommend!!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Kara Baird at Kentucky Dog Training LLC! My dog tends to take time to warm up to new places/people and dogs… so at first I was nervous to board him with Kara at her place. However when we arrived to drop my guy off, Kara was so calm and good with him, that my worries were gone. Kash ended up having a great time and it was such a positive experience! I can’t thank Kara Baird and KDT enough! I have recommended Kentucky Dog Training for boarding to several others, specifically Kara! The only down side… your dog will pout once they return home. Ha!

Sam and Kentucky Dog Training worked wonders with my previously very reactive dog. Prior to attending board & train, Milo was a constant barker both inside and outside of the house. He has always been scared of strangers and takes a while to warm up to new people. It had gotten to the point that I couldn't walk him as he would lose his mind over every person and dog we passed. When Milo returned from his training, the barking had ceased! I can now attend my work from home meetings in silence and take him on pleasant walks on my work breaks. I can even stop and talk to neighbors while Milo quietly sits and waits. Sam gave us the tools we needed at home to introduce Milo to new people, and it has helped us tremendously in feeling more equipped and less nervous when someone knocks on the door. In addition, we have been able to help break Milo of his constant table and counter grazing - he will stay in his place for our entire dinner without nudging us for food! Sam has been incredible at communicating and helping when we have questions or need help making some tweaks. I highly recommend Kentucky Dog Training! Thank you for all you do!
