Kentucky Dog Training LLC is a board and train specialist serving Lexington and central Kentucky. We specialize in high quality board and trains in a home setting. Our programs will help you achieve the level of manners and obedience that you are looking for. Life is too short to accept being dragged down the street, or not being able to recall your dog off leash. Head trainer Samantha Adams is nationally recognized, certified, and experienced in bringing out the best in every dog. Our most popular program is our Distraction Program, which teaches your dog reliable obedience for the real world. They learn their skills in a home setting, and then progress to practicing those skills everywhere from Lowes to the Arboretum.

Sam does an amazing job! She has helped me bring my German Shepherd from not caring about anything to really want to do sport obedience and not just the fun stuff. I’m just a little time I have seen such an improvement with her guidance.
I would give more stars if I could! If you are having any issues with your dog or just want a fun way to bond this is the place to go. Sam is extremely patient and has an amazing teaching style that will get you the results you want to see with your dog.

Calling my Maebel a wild child is an understatement. I was truly at my wits end with what to do with her. I worked with her daily since adopting her 8 months ago. She was getting worse not better as far as her behaviour and obedience went. I couldn't even take her on walks or have people over. Kentucky Dog Training saved us both! Now Maebel is home and I am blown away by how well mannered she is now. I don't have to crate her at work, walks are actually fun now and I can have people over to my house without her trying to lick them to death. Samantha is an amazing trainer that truly has a gift with dogs! This was a life changing investment that I am SO grateful for!

Sam is a true professional in her craft. She helped train our Lab to not only have a rock solid foundation of obedience that we can build on but helped develop confidence in a dog that was permanently scared and reactive no matter what we did. Today he is well behaved and confident and we can finally enjoy him the way we intended. Along the way Sam was very responsive, we received plenty of updates, pictures and videos and she answered all of our questions both before, during and after the board and train. I would highly recommend her services.
