Kentucky K9 Deer Tracking

I was about ready to give up after losing blood, but this gal and her dog showed up calm and ready to work. That dog hit the ground and, in just 9 minutes, had us standing over my buck! Watching them work together was something special. You can tell they truly love what they do. I’m beyond thankful for their help — turned a frustrating night into one I’ll never forget. If you ever need a tracking team, she’s the one to call!

I shot the biggest buck of my life in Kentucky and dropped it in it tracks, but just as i thought I had bagged the buck of a lifetime it jumped up and ran off in the woods. I tracked blood to a creek where the buck crossed but couldn’t find any blood on the other side of the creek. I contacted Kenzie and she brought her dog Liebe out to track the buck. Liebe hit on the scent and followed the trail to the creek and was eager to cross the creek. After crossing the creek Liebe went cold on the scent and I just couldn’t accept it or sleep without knowing what happened to the buck! I contacted a guy with a drone and he came out 12 hours later and confirmed the big buck was still alive and chasing a doe! Liebe was spot on and Kenzie was very nice and professional! They are top notch and I won’t lie, I was disappointed he wasn’t dead but relieved that the buck wasn’t wounded and suffering!
