Kilo and Frei K-9, LLC

We sent our 2 year old German Shepherd, Fletcher, to the month long board and train to fine tune some of his training. Aaron and his team helped Fletcher with overcoming some fears and getting his Canine Good Citizen certification. We could not be happier with how he was treated like family. Their vast experience with the breed was exactly what we needed in a trainer. Aaron takes the time to explain and demonstrate everything he does until it is understood. We were also able to add one of their beautiful puppies to our family in the process. They picked the perfect fit for us and ensured Fletcher would accept his new sister, Phoenix. Sarah and the family have obviously poured their hearts into these puppies.

We did a 30 day board and train 2 years ago with Kilo and Frei for our male GSD. He came back a different dog and to this day he is a calm sweet obedient boy. Fast forward, and our female GSD, Cora, just got back from a 2 week board and train. She didn’t need nearly as long because we utilized a lot of the skills Aaron had taught us with the first dog. That’s the great thing about them. They give you the skills to be successful. Cora’s issued stemmed from anxiety and a lot of that was because we hadn’t worked with her enough as she got older. She is visibly Calmer after coming back and much more obedient. Another great thing is Aaron is so wonderful about answering questions you have once you get them home about behaviors you’re seeing. I have asked questions about my male that he saw 2 years ago that he still answers for me. Talk about dedication. Other positives: this is a small, family owned and run business right down to their daughter who plays with the dogs when she gets off school. They love your babies. You don’t have to worry about them being alone. This isn’t a corporate, one size fits all approach. It is tailored for each dog’s unique needs. For the amount of work and time they invest in you and your dog, the price is incredible. Aaron has years and years of experience in so many different scenarios. He will always be up front with you about what can and can’t be done in a certain amount of time and gives you the science behind it. Once you are part of the Kilo family you never leave, and we are so glad.

I will say, at first I was extremely skeptical using them as I went through so many bad trainers and their price was a great price, but I took a chance. I am so glad I took the chance. This was the best place I've ever had train my puppy. She learned everything they said they would train on in the puppy bootcamp. They are great at responding and making sure they send proof of training. Being that I have a Malinois they definitely had their hands full. I look forward to sending my dog there for some advance obedience!
