FirstBarkKallee loves Kim’s K9. She loves being out in the yard looking for squirrels in the trees and loves to get spoiled by the staff! We love it because she comes home tired and happy!!

With more than 30 years of business in West Michigan, Kim's K-9 is a fun and friendly center for dog boarding, training and doggie daycare. Founders Kim, expert trainer, and husband Brian Steffes opened the current Center in Kentwood, Michigan in March 1996. Lifelong residents of the Grand Rapids area and avid dog lovers, Kim and Brian have created lasting relationships with clients and their wonderful pets. Kim and Brian sold the business to their long-standing employee and friend, Martha Wiltse, in 2021. She carries on their values! The facility offers a safe and clean environment with multiple indoor and outdoor play areas, as well as flexible hours and a convenient location, just off of Broadmoor Ave. SE, near 28th St.

Kim’s K9 provides an excellent and caring training program geared towards your dog’s personality. We continue to bring our dog there for daycare every week. The staff is wonderful and he loves playing with his dog friends!

Not only are they like family, but I know we would not have such a good Little puppy had they not helped us so much with training. It also really says something that we have seen the same staff members consistently throughout this time. We love everyone there and we are so grateful for how much they take care of our girl! Tip: Definitely get your dog trained by Sam!
Had a very nice talk with Beck on my dog. She explained everything, on training, and asked a lot of questions about my dog. I know my dog will get the training she needs. Thank you Beck
Kaydee goes to socialize. She also boards there at times. The staff know Kaydee and take great care of her. Very thorough egegen checking in to board.
