Kim's K9 Training

Kim is a great trainer! After seeing how well behaved her dogs were in public, I knew she would be a great option for my rowdy American staffy puppy. She helped build her confidence as well as mine and gave me the proper tools and advice to continue my training after our sessions. She was easy to communicate with and didn’t make me feel dumb when correcting my missteps. My pup was heading down a path of disobedience and destruction and I can’t thank Kim enough for her help. You can tell she really loves dogs and is passionate about what she does.

When I started looking for a trainer for my dog Rubi, it was because she was fearful, easily startled, and a flight risk. I wanted someone who could help me work through her fear. In our very first session, Kim immediately identified that Rubi’s fear was actually rooted in low confidence—something I had no idea could play such a big role in a dog’s life. She took the time to watch her, understand her, and figure out exactly what she needed to start making progress. We’ve now been training together for over 9 months, and the change in Rubi has been incredible. Kim tailored her approach to her needs, celebrated every small win, and gave me the tools to keep the training going at home. Rubi has come so far—it’s been amazing to watch her grow more relaxed and confident. I’ve also boarded my dogs with Kim, and she went above and beyond. She sent daily updates and videos, took them on adventure and structured walks, and even continued Rubi’s training while I was away. Kim’s commitment doesn’t stop when the session ends—she truly cares about every dog she works with, attends workshops, and is always learning more to help her clients. If you’re looking for a trainer who is genuinely invested in your dog’s growth, I can’t recommend Kim enough

Kim has been working with my English Bulldog for about a year now and added two Pit Bulls to the mix. She comes with such a knowledge and experience working with these breeds on reactivity, obedience, and confidence building with our two sensitive pups. Her approach is very realistic to what you are able to do with your lifestyle and I appreciate her honesty about difficult situations. Needless to say, you are missing out if you don’t work with Kim with your fur babies!!!

Kim is an absolute expert with dogs. She has taught us how to regulate our dogs’ nervous systems, how to get the more comfortable around different people, how to walk without pulling. In the time we’ve worked with her, we’ve seen an unbelievable shift in our dogs’ behavior. The smallest things she’s instructed us to do have had incredible impact, and with consistency, direction, and her support, the quality of our lives and our pets’ lives has been improved drastically. Very much recommend working with Kim!
