Kingdom K9 Poway

We chose Kingdom K9 after the consultation with Khalil. We had talked to a few other trainer’s for our basset/beagle , Louie , and are so happy we went with Kingdom K9! We watched Khalil train with another client who said it was the best decision they made. Khalil and his team genuinely care about training and caring for his client’s dogs. Louie is happy back home with us and we are so happy he’s calm and relaxed—living his dream life with us!!! We learned so much from Khalil, using the tools and methods to have a positive outlook for a long , happy life with Louie. Can’t thank Khalil and the Kingdom enough! Two thumbs 👍 up!

I am incredibly thankful for my experience with Kingdom K9 Poway! I enrolled my 1 year old dog Maple into the three week day training and boarding program. Uncle Khalil and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. I agree with Khalil’s training philosophy-I appreciate that it is relationship and boundary based (rather than considering human as alpha). My dog was trying to pull us into the busy street we walked next to everyday when she saw a dog on the sidewalk across it and started barking, or a paper bag bouncing in the wind on the street island. If someone walked by her or ran/biked past her, she would lunge at them for attention or out of fear. When walking around a neighborhood with Christmas decorations, she would bark at the scary ones. When I first noticed the change with how she walked with me, it was very creepy. I am more used to it now, but do not take for granted the difference in quality of life. I can tell she is a much happier, confident, and less stressed dog too!
