Six months after we lost our adored male Cocker Spaniel, Toby, of 14 years, we made a decision to adopt a dog from a local shelter. A one-year old Beagle mix, Wyatt, won us over and now he has his forever home. We knew in order to make Wyatt the best he could be, he would benefit going through a professional training program. We called Kiokee Creek for help and Cody Turner knocked on our door in mid-October. He started coming to our home once a week training Wyatt to be a more obedient pet. He would give us homework assignments so we could reinforce the training throughout the week. It has been amazing to watch Wyatt's transformation over the last four weeks from a hyper, strong-willed animal to an obedient, loving dog, obeying commands and always eager to please. We are so grateful to Cody for his dog training expertise and teaching us to train Wyatt. We can't wait for the end result!

We have had a wonderful experience with Cody, who has helped me with my three year old cocker spaniel, Hazel. When we moved back from up north, she became accustomed to being off -leash ...to a point where she didn't let me come near her with one without putting up a fight (!) He has helped both Hazel and I become less anxious and more comfortable with weekly routine and practice. Highly recommend these guys :)

My 3 year old dog Bo went to Kiokee Creek Kennels for 2 1/2 months of board and train. He has always been a sweet dog, but also hard headed and challenging when it came time for any obedience. Cody transformed Bo into a dog we hardly recognized. He was not only obedient but he was even more loving. For the first time he seemed to enjoy listening and looking for positive reinforcement. Our entire family was amazed. Taking Bo for walks in the evening off leash is something I never imagined would actually be possible. Thank you Cody for giving us the dog we always hoped he could be. We also brought our girl Bea who is 1 1/2 years old to train with Cody and Will. We describe Bea to our friends as a “free spirit”. She is smart but easily distracted and often impulsive. She is undeniably kind with lots of puppy energy. She usually follows her brother Bo’s lead and that has lead to bad habits! Fast forward 2 1/2 months and she is a different Bea. She has retained all the qualities we have always loved but has acquired a new sense of self. Her focus is something we haven’t seen before and her desire to please is so endearing! A big shout out to Will! You have worked wonders with our girl!! We are so thankful to have found Kiokee Creek Kennels and appreciate every one you. We are so impressed that we have just left our newest 6 month pup Posey who will undergo the same obedience program. Stay tuned for an update….they are the best!
