When I first got my rescue dog (a blue heeler named Levi) in 2014, I tried some dog training another Loveland location. It was a miserable experience and a huge failure. After four years, we decided to try again and I was fortunate enough to have found Kay. She met us where we were at both literally and figuratively. She listened to what the situation was for our home and found ways for the people and dog in the house to be successful. I had no idea how smart my dog was until a Kay came along! It turns out that you can teach an old dog new tricks. There is still work to be done, mostly on my end, but just 4 sessions with Kay provided an absolute breakthrough. Levi now gets more “exercise & enrichment” and it’s fun for all. I just have to keep coming up with ways to challenge him....who knew? Kay laid some nice ground work and now it’s about the consistent training on our end. You won’t regret giving Kay a go...and your dogs will thank you.
Kay at KK9 is amazing! In one session I already learned so much I can work on to be an awesome human for my sweet boxer mix Eden! And my shy Eden is so much more confident!
