Klug K9 Training

We've been working with Nikki at Klug K9 Training for the last five months with our new Chocolate Lab Brody. I appreciate her positive training approach, with Brody and me, along with how best to correct unwanted behaviors is great. She helps us develop a partnership with Brody and the improvements in his behavior and communication have been great. Nikki's Broad and Train Service really helped us, as Brody got training while we were on vacation. We were engaged as well during the training process. We had a few sessions after the board and train, and Nikki trained us as well as Brody. Brody has gone from a puller on walks to walking with me. He obeys sit and comes when called. I recommend using Klug K9 Training to help train you and your puppy/dog.

I’ll tell you a little bit about Nikki Klug and how she’s made my life easier by improving my relationship with my dogs. I’m a police dog handler and I have a K9 that is smart, very powerful and impulsive when it comes to his toys. I love him but he can be a real booger. I have taken private lessons from Nikki who taught us some new ways to play and how to make obedience training fun and not some chore I’d rather avoid. The classes I’ve taken from her have been time well spent. Nikki has a lot of experience competing in the sport dog world and has trained hundreds, if not more, pet dogs. She knows her stuff and she’s just a really nice person who wants you to enjoy your pet. I recently adopted a pet Malinois, named Phoenix, from Nikki. Nikki trained her for a few months before she started the search for Phoenix’s forever home. All I can say is I will never have another pet that hasn’t gone through a board and train with Nikki. Phoenix is such a good girl. All the manners you want your pet to have she’s got and all we have to do is continue to practice them. Handsome fella on the left is Blue. I cannot recommend Klug K9 Training highly enough. I had zero training experience before working with them, and came with a high energy German Shepherd puppy. Later I added another German Shepherd puppy to the mix who's the total opposite - he lacked confidence and was a challenge to motivate to work with me, even with tasty treats. Klug K9 helped train me and my dogs, and we're all the better for it! I really appreciate Nikki's extensive experience, and the fact that she's a balanced trainer - so far no matter what problem I've come with, she's had a plan to work through it that is tailored to the individual dog, as well as helping us learn how to do some trick training and fun stuff. The difference in my dogs since working with Klug K9 is incredible, and the obedience skills they've acquired has made life with the dogs so much more enjoyable.

Nikki is truly exceptional! She has an incredible ability to give us pet parents the tools to help our pups reach their best selves. Being able to work with her has been a pleasure and utilizing the tools she gives us has helped our teenage son work with his malamute husky mix Toro. We’ve even be able to use the tools he got from her with our other two and have given them a more balanced life. We appreciate your hard work and dedication to dogs and giving them the best and most incredible lives with their humans. We highly recommend Nikki and Klug K9 Training for anyone who has a pup they want to have trained the best way possible.

I love Nikki's classes! So much that I travel from Vancouver to take them. I've taken a total of 4 classes with Nikki, starting at puppy classes. These classes have helped Lou to be exactly the dog I had hoped for! We've learned house manners that make him so easy to live with, manners in public places and skills like a super reliable recall that make him fun to take pretty much anywhere dogs are allowed. She's always helped me work on individual goals or problems with Lou and tailored exercises to us indivually when needed. Lou is a show dog and while Nikki doesnt offer show dog training in particular, all of the skills we learned in her classes helped us reach his show goals. She's always been willing to help and offer advice even between classes and pack walks are super nice to help keep us motivated and training. The continued support means a ton to me! She's takes a ton of pride in you and your dog being successful and it shows! If you're on the fence about taking a class with her, DO IT! It's so worth it!
