Knallhart Kennels & Training Academy

Chelsey at Knallhart is amazing!!! She took my Shar Pei, Hades in, for a Board & Train for 8 weeks. He has eyesight issues and was therefore extremely sound reactive. We had taken him to multiple other trainers, but nothing seemed to really work. We brought him to Chelsey and she took him in (even with all of his medical issues) and he is so much better now!! He isn't perfect, of course. We still have a lot of work to do. But he's leaps and bounds from where he was. I'm not scared to take him on a walk by myself anymore!

We reached out to Knallhart Kennels & Training Academy after feeling helpless and frustrated with our mini Australian Shepherd, Bulaga, and the way he acted around random strangers. Bulaga would bark, lunge, lower his ears, and shake when encountering certain individuals, and we were not sure what to do. Right from the beginning, Chelsey made us at ease with her knowledge and confidence in helping Bulaga overcome his fear reactivity. With that, she was able to give us a program suggestion and what that would look like for both Bulaga and us. While Bulaga was at training, we were assigned multiple "homework" assignments, and I cannot stress how helpful and insightful they were. I learned so much about physical cues and triggers as well as how to manage certain behaviors Bulaga would exhibit. When Bulaga returned from training, he was so much more confident and calm in situations that would previously be problematic. Chelsey was incredibly helpful answering questions and walking through Bulaga's adjustment back at home. I now feel confident working with Bulaga on his skills learned at training, and I know that should I have questions or concerns, Chelsey is a quick text away. Our relationship with Bulaga has been completely transformed in the best way thanks to Chelsey and Knallhart, and I would absolutely work with her again in the future.

Chelsey has been amazing to work with! She provided our dog with a solid training foundation that we can now build on, as well as the tools we need to build on that foundation. It is exciting to see the progress our dog has made and what he is capable of doing! We had used other trainers and training methods in the past, none of which gave us the results we needed or wanted. We hoped that this time would be different, and it definitely was. Knallhart exceeded our expectations! We would 100% use their services again!
