Knallhart Kennels & Training Academy

Our six week experience with Knallhart Training Academy was wonderful. Chelsey and her crew are great. Over the last 30+ years Curt and I have enjoyed 5 beautiful dogs with 3 different trainers. Chelsey is by far the best. We gave her a 5-month old wildly rambunctious, loving yellow lab pup named Reggie. She gave us back an energetic, loving, well--behaved and controllable 7-month old Reggie who is the joy of our lives. Chelsey's training program is truly 5 star!

I've been searching over 2 years for a preservation newfoundland breeder and I almost gave up until I met Chelsey at the Newfoundland National Specialty. I watched her, one of her trainers and an owner of one of her newfoundland puppies compete in different events throughout the week and I knew she was the breeder I was looking for! From the first phone call to the day I brought my puppy home (which was just 3 days ago) Chelsey and her team were there to answer questions, and gave valuable training and health advice. We LOVE the puppy Chelsey picked for us, she really is the perfect match for our family!

Knallhart kennels has truly changed our lives. We sought out a trainer when our puppy started having significant behavior issues at six months old. That dog was a part of Chelsey's board and train program and was a very difficult client. She adapted and flexed to work with our family and our dog for a full year. When he improved but was shown not to be a great fit as an in town family dog the Knallhart staff came alongside our family as friends who helped us make the hard decision to have him live in another home most of the time. He is happy and thriving and so are we. Through that experience we came to trust Chelsey and her staff and with their guidance decided that a Newfoundland puppy would be a great fit for our home and lifestyle. They helped us every step of the way and continue to be a part of our life. We could not be happier with our, "Ted" from Knallhart and I can not imagine getting a dog from anyone else.

I found Knallhart Kennels on Newfoundland breeders of distinction from the AKC . I contacted Chelsey and she responded very quickly and we had a great conversation and I knew I wanted to get a puppy from her ! She is extremely thorough, professional and has strong attention to detail . She on top of that is fun to talk to and very willing to spend time answering questions . Part of the puppy buying process for us included a thread with all the future puppy owners that continued for many weeks containing pictures of the puppies , articles , teaching regarding feeding with charts and a group zoom that taught all of us as a group preparation for bringing a Newfoundland home and care at home . I cannot imagine a better experience! Our puppy is amazing, sweet and happy . He is also beautiful. I highly recommend Chelsey and Knallhart Kennels .
