Knox Canine Training

Came over for an hour session. I explained the situation in detail beforehand via email. He comes over to tell me there's nothing he can do until my one dog is muzzle trained. I understand being cautious, but why come out to tell me something you could've emailed, knowing the situation? He then repeated that she needed muzzle training on a loop for an hour to cover the time. Also called dog annoying (I'm sorry she barks) and kept using the phrase if I had to "get rid of her". I learned a lot about what muzzle to buy but nothing pertinent to my situation. Had this place double recommended by vets but was ultimately disappointed.

Clint came to our home to help us with behavior issues we were having with our 2 rescue sisters. 11 lb each 8 years old when we adopted them. Clint’s insights & suggestions have helped us so much. Clint is very knowledgeable about dog behaviors. Just simple suggestions in our home made so much sense once he pointed things out. Our Sadie & LuLu were able to follow commands from Clint he is the dog whisperer. We highly recommend .

We did the puppy class with Knox Canine. It was good, we have a very vocal pup and they were able to manage that with some dividers so that she and I could still learn. The only "con" I have is that several of the very first "games" we were to start working on had no context to them so they seemed a little random or like "what's the point of this." That point eventually became very clear, they lay the foundation for other skills of course down the road but I just think it'd be nice if the instructor gave that context at the time. Just something like hey, this is what we will use this "game" for down the road or for this skill. I think many of us in the class blindly followed the leader given we were all new to puppy training and then three classes in had that epiphany ha! They truly care about your dog and family though!
