Kodiak K9 Training

We had an amazing experience with Kodiak K9 (specifically, Ellie and Jake)! From start to finish, the communication was top-notch — we got regular updates, photos, and progress reports that really gave us peace of mind. Compared to other options we looked at, the training was very reasonably priced, especially considering the level of personal attention our dog received. Our dog Winnie, we adopted at 3 mos and brought her hear at 7 mos. My wife and I were truly concerned about how we would make it another month with our dog, who was really sweet natured, but very destructive and required full-time attention. One of the biggest reasons we chose them was that they bring dogs into their own home with their family (including kids) instead of using a kennel — a huge plus for us since we have a 3yr old ourselves. It felt more like sending our dog to stay with family than dropping her off at a facility and it also allowed them to encounter more of the real-world concerns or challenges we were facing and address them. Our dog had tons of excess energy that she was channeling into destructive behavior. She was sweet but totally out of control. Now? She’s one of the best-behaved dogs we’ve ever known. She learned all her basic commands, and we can even have her off-leash in our backyard while our next door neighbor's three dogs bark at the fence — she stays calm and focused. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for real, lasting change with their dog. We’re so grateful for the changes we've seen in Winnie, and the joy she now brings our family!

Micah is phenomenal!! I saw a complete shift in my dog’s behavior, a 2yr old 120 lb Rottie. He remained calm and relaxed in situations that would have normally triggered anxiety or reactivity — including unexpected noises, people, and movement in close proximity. The techniques Micah shared were clear, effective, and easy to implement. I felt more confident handling my dog, and the results spoke for themselves almost immediately. Highly recommend to anyone looking for real, lasting progress with their dog.

Highly recommend Kodiak K9 dog training! Micah did amazing with my 6 month old presa pup. Besides his huge improvement in obedience, his confidence also sky rocketed, and my once velcro, always-needing-to-be-next-to-mom-puppy was so much more independent. Micah took the time to go over all commands learned with me, and demonstrated a whole bunch of tips and tricks. To this day, several month later, she is still available to me with any questions or concerns i might have. Every body always compliments my dog's behavior. So happy with my choice of Kodiak k9!
