Christa is an awesome dog trainer and you can tell she's very passionate about what she does. We adopted a mixed breed puppy from the shelter that had a ton of anxiety and puppy issues. She was constantly biting all of us, jumping on our young children, and chasing our cats. After working with Christa, our dog completely stopped engaging in those behaviors. The next major issue we had was walking her, she would pull so bad that she would begin to choke herself. After working with Christa, she quickly learned to stop pulling and now she is an excellent walker. I feel so much better when taking her out knowing she can hold a heel and not become so easily distracted. Our dog had numerous other issues that we worked on with Christa, including trying to work through her anxiety since she is naturally a VERY anxious dog. Honestly I had no clue how bad we needed Christa until we started our sessions! She is knowledgeable, informative, honest, and professional. I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone. Even if you don't think your dog needs training, because they probably do!!

We did the 1 month Board and Train for our 1 year old Yellow Lab. At 100 pounds, Jolly is a big lovable guy who can’t wait to explore his world and pull us along with him for the adventure. Christa took the time to understand our goals for him and help to achieve them. Thanks to Christa and Koena K9, we now have a wonderful, well mannered dog with good behavior when guests arrive, on walks, and at home with the family. We have said over and over again (and so have our guests) that this is the best thing we could have done for Jolly… And for all of us. Christa is an excellent trainer and professional business woman. She trained my one year old German Shepherd and was very patient, and insured his safety at all times. My shepherd is now very well trained, and I get compliments all the time. Prior to hiring Christa, I had hired a trainer named Ron, and he told me my dog was not trainable. Christa had no trouble training my dog, And my dog picked up her commands in training immediately. Prior to the training, I had an accident on the hiking trail where the leash was wrapped around my hand, and crushed my fingers . The surgery itself cost $30,000, so her fees are minimal and well worth it to a avoid potential injury and ensure your dog is safe. She is smart, personable and I feel her services were invaluable and I highly recommend her.
