Kota K9 Dog Training

We found Kota K9 last year when we adopted our JJ from the Ashtabula APL. JJ was dog reactive and we knew we needed some guidance on how to work him through this. We started training with Dakota and Kailey and JJ took to them right away and it was a complete game changer for us and our JJ. Through their experience and knowledge of handling and working with dogs we are now able to have JJ going on walks in the park with other dogs and he no longer reacts in a negative way. JJ has even become best friends with our granddog! We have also used Kota K9 for doggie day care. They are reliable and we trust them 100% with JJ. JJ loves to see Kailey in the mornings and he enjoys his play time and walks with her. They even helped us out when we had a family emergency and needed to board JJ for a couple nights. Kailey and Dakota really put their all into what they do. I give them 5 stars and highly recommend. Thank you Dakota and Kailey!

Dakota and Kailey have been a Godsend with our rescue JJ. After weeks of training, JJ seems like a different dog around other animals. Much of their training went into training us as much as JJ, and the results speak for themselves. Norman and I have been working with Dakota and Kailey for about a year. Norman loves his friends. They've been so kind and patient with us. Norman is just an average dog for me and they have been showing me the ropes and I appreciate it a lot. Anytime there is something, I reach out and get a prompt response. Brought our GS dog there for training. One of our largest concerns was that he was dog aggressive and we wanted that worked out. When we went to pick him up they assured us that he was fine. He was not! He has attacked dogs walking by our house, we cannot take him to the vet because he is so aggressive and he will even bark and go after a dog if he sees them on tv. The training he received did not even work when they were showing us how to work with him. We were told we would receive follow up calls and home visits to help to continue to work with him. Over a year later.....still crickets. They should honestly change the name of this company to "C'mon take my money and run" I think the only thing my dog learned while he was gone was to be starved and come home food aggressive.
