I am in agreement to assign 10 stars, if Google allowed, to Nate Hatch at KPro K9 Dog Training. My experience has been very successful and rewarding for both Dog and Human. While I have had dogs all my life who were well behaved and easy to train, I struggled with my newest, a Golden Doodle. I had heard about the excitement level with this breed, which proved true. I tried Puppy Training with another private trainer and also with a Big Box Pet Store. My pup was distracted and the training I had was not working for her. I feel I waited too long and the jumping an excitement upon greeting Humans and other Dogs did not diminish with her maturity. The Manager at our local PetSupermarket in Fernandina raved about Nate and Cassie, the local Trainers so I gave them a call. The response level was immediate and explained everything thoroughly. Beginning with a very professional on site Evaluation to assess her we decided to start my girl with Level 1 which was just fine with me, especially since the training was not the typical walk around the block or in your home. We got out and about in the second session which was exactly what we needed to quell the Meet and Greet. Nate met us at Central Park, Downtown, Main Beach, Pet Supermarket, Second Chance and anywhere to help get the excitement and jumping down. While it is still a very strong urge for her to do the back leg "Poodle Dance", I am so impressed with the progress Nate has made with her and me to behave and greet while sitting. Watching Nate, you can tell he knows Dogs, their triggers and how to change; he just gets them. His handling skills are seamless; he has been so patient with me, with all my questions and hesitations; he gave me the confidence I needed to take her out on my own to practice and not let her take control and understand how to quiet the excitement level. We found KPro K9 at exactly the right time. Our pup had just been attacked by another dog and we were trying to find the right program to help her and us navigate her behavior afterwards. Cassie with K9 showed up and changed our lives! From the first day we met, she was so encouraging and energetic and she talked us through the whole process and explained everything we could expect. Having now finished our first program with her, I can truly say every single thing we asked for help with, we received and then some! Our pup now follows every command she's told. While she's still a puppy with a lot of energy, Cassie taught us how to use that in her favor to enable her to get the most out of each training session and she's thriving now. I can't recommend this program enough. The trainers are truly there for you through it all and offer so much assistance and knowledge and Im so grateful for finding them!

KPro K9 exceeded our expectations. We have three dogs: two smaller dogs and a larger younger dog. We were having issues walking all three and the larger dog did not react well to other dogs. We had tried other training without much success. We tried KPro K9 while in Fernandina for 6 weeks. Ryan was assigned as our trainer, and he was excellent at showing us how to work with all three dogs. Our dogs responded to Ryan from the first session. Ryan went above and beyond by bringing different dogs to each session to work on dog interactions. He also brought other KPro K9 trainers (Gino & Cassie) and their dogs to work with us. Ryan worked within our compressed schedule and gave us the tools to continue to work with our dogs; he also built our confidence, as well as the dog’s confidence. Overall, our progress was amazing, and we have the tools to continue to work with our dogs going forward. We highly recommend KPro K9.
