I know how much joy a dog brings to a family and equally how much of a headache an untrained dog can be. Founded by Kellen Roberts, KRoberts K9 offers off-leash training servicing residents in Calhoun County, Birmingham and Gasden, Alabama. The family owned business differs from other off-leash training because of the custom training program designed just for your dog. Together we take a hands-on approach to training a better pet for you and your family.

Kroberts K9 and Braden did such a fantastic job of training my 1 year old german shepherd to be obedient off leash! We are able to take him anywhere now and not worry about him pulling us and not listening!! Such a big difference thanks to these guys.

Kellen and his team did a great job with training our two Australian Labradoodles for 6 weeks. They achieved all the deliverables listed for the program. Baxter especially is a different dog around strangers and kids. No longer scared and unsure. This was so important to us as we are expecting our first child any day. Kellen and his family really go above and beyond with different distractions and situations to test the dogs in many different ways. Most of all, they put a lot of time and attention into training you as the handler. We are our dogs but heat failure. But we now feel more comfortable with how we need to act and behave to get the dogs to not just be more obedient but also be more confident as members of the family. They no longer feel they need to protect and be on guard all the time. They can relax more. This was such a relief! We highly recommend K9Roberts!!
Kellen and his team did a wonderful job training and caring for our boxer puppy. She still has her goofy puppy ways but better understands what we need from her. 100% would recommend to anyone. Kellen clearly cares about what he does and has a genuine interest in making sure dogs and their owners gain success in his program.

Kellen was amazing throughout the process of getting ready for training. He answered all of my questions quickly and in detail so I knew what the process would end up being like. Braden worked with River, my beagle/pit puppy, and was AMAZING! I loved the check in videos throughout her time at Kroberts K9 and the home lesson was great practice with being back at home with the other dogs. They really go above and beyond to make sure you have a good plan moving forward to have a happy, well training pup! 10/10 would choose them again! Thank you for everything!
